London, 26 September 2017 – Telin again won the prestigious global carrier industry award, Carriers World Awards (CWA) 2017. Having previously been named as the Best Regional Wholesale Carrier in 2016 and The Most Innovative Wholesaler in 2015, this time Telin again won the Best Regional Wholesale Carrier category. The ceremony took place on 25th September 2017 in Hilton Tower Bridge London, England, by Total Telecom Editor, Mary Lennighan, and was received by Telin Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Budi Satria Dharma Purba.
From the 13 total awards categories, Telin received 5 nominations, namely Best Wholesale Carrier (Global), Best Wholesale Carrier (Regional), Best Security / Fraud Solution for A2P and CDN, Best Messaging Solution for A2P SMS, and Best IPX Service Pro.
The Carriers World Awards is an annual awards event organized by Total Telecom, a subsidiary of Terappin Holdings, as a contribution to the global carrier community as well as an appreciation of the global carrier's outstanding carrier. The Carriers World Awards event was also attended by other major global players such as BICS, Telstra, Airtel, PCCW Global, Epsilon and NTT Communication.
The mechanism of assessment and determination of winners is divided into two stages, namely an objective assessment by the jury which is followed by voting from industry market. The first stage of assessment was conducted by a jury consisting of carrier experts, telecom industry observers, and partner analysts Carriers World, among whom are selected independent consultants, media, and business contributor.
After the jury conducted a series of in-depth research on each nominator then the judging entered to the next stage through the mechanism of vote. At this stage, the nominees are required to conduct series of vote campaigns whom winner is determined from the highest number of votes.
Some aspects that serve as the benchmark of material success are business performance and company achievement in the past 12 months supported by evidence of other achievements such as revenue generated and the development of global infrastructure owned in order to improve the quality of service companies.
This achievement became a tangible form for Telin to compete with other global carrier companies in aaddition to strengthening the positioning and brandvalue owned by Telin and Telkom Group as the best carrier, to support Telin's vision as a Global Digital Hub.
