Through the theme “Leveraging the Opportunity to Grow,” BATIC 2011 focused on two priority issues: future trends of telecommunication industry revenue and an internet-driven economy. BATIC 2011 was held from November 8 - 11, 2011 at Ayana Resort & Spa Jimbaran, Bali.

Bali Annual Telkom International Conference 2011 (BATIC 2011), was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Kalamullah Ramli M. Eng, Senior Advisor for the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, accompanied by Rinaldi Firmansyah, President Director of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. (Telkom) and Ririek Adriansyah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) and both companies’ top executives at the Ayana Resort, Jimbaran, Bali on Wednesday November 9th 2011. This high profile telecommunication conference is attended by more than 150 top executives from 62 companies from various countries, including leading companies in the telecommunication and technology industry such as Google, Blackberry, Microsoft, Tata Communications, NTT, Level 3 USA, China Telecom, Deutsche Telecom, TM, Singtel, Hutchinson, PCCW Global, Shinetown and others. PCCW Global and Telin Cooperate to Expand
Worldwide Service Coverage

JIMBARAN, November 9th, 2011 - PCCW Global, a subsidiary of Hong Kong’s premier telecommunications provider, PCCW Limited, and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin), a member of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk., the largest telecommunication and network services provider in Indonesia, have signed a MPLS network interconnection agreement to enhance their international network coverage and service offerings.

The interconnection agreement will extend Telin's service coverage in global Internet access, IPLC, Ethernet, and IP VPN to its overseas customers through PCCW Global’s robust and resilient MPLS network which covers over 1,500 cities in 110 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. This collaboration will also enable PCCW Global to provide its international customers with greater local access in Indonesia. Read more...
